After problems with my season card i am pleased to say i also have a celtic away ticket. The problem was Ajax did not transfer my euro scan points from my club card to season card, my friend in Amsterdam was on the phone to Ajax for two hours and eventually they agreed to transfer the points across.
Had a good day yesterday in the arena not the best game but three points is all that matters. On friday i went to see young Ajax train and then watched Ajax Ladies v Telstar. Will post pics when i get home from Barca

It makes me sad.

AJAX was the better club till the end of the 90’s. Within 15 years it changed dramatically. From one of the best clubs in the world to cannon fodder in the Champions League. A couple of moneyclubs (8 a 10) are calling the shots. A Barcelona that without AJAX never would be the same club as it is today whipes us away as if its a training on a sundaymorning. Under these circumstances AJAX will never be a european topclub again. Why? Because of the money. Because English, Spanish and Italian clubs can play in the Champions League with 4 clubs. They get tens of millions of prize money, television money. Even if they are sometimes tens or hundreds millions of euro's in debt. And the UEFA does nothing. No, they facilitated it! Where is the Financial Fairplay? Where is the 6 + 5 rule? It could be achieved years ago but they does not want it. It is absolutely disgusting to watch that AJAX is trempeled by those clubs. Not because AJAX can't compete on a sportive level or because the structure of the club isn't good but because AJAX gets only a few million euro out of the deal with FOX while a shitty Premier League clubs gets 10's of millions of euros! What the hell? And then AJAX loses 2 of their key-players (Eriksen and Alderweireld) 1 day before the transferdeadline. Again...it is not because of a failing sportive climate or a bad structure...it is because of 1 thing: money and the UEFA. The only reason why AJAX changed from a 4 times winner of the CL, 2 World Cups and several other european finals to the last 17 years nothing in Europe. It's not about the sport anymore. It's just FC Money against FC Money every year in, year out.

Totally agree. Football is no more football. Every year there are at least 10 same teams in the last 16 in the Champions League. This circumstance of top football makes me less and less interesting in football. I admit that there are still some beautiful games in the CL, especially in the K.O. phase. However, I no langer have the emotion to watch them. I prefer to watch one of my football VPS collections.

Same here of course, Ye.
It was always frustrating that the best players were snatched by the clubs with a lot of money and the organisations (UEFA) and the nations like Spain, Italy to facilate those clubs.
But with Bosman not just the branches are cut but the roots also. Deadly. Not only the big stars...well, the big stars aren't even staying that long to be called big stars. The big talents and even their replacements like Maher (psv and a third party), Van Ginkel, Djuricic are not within reach anymore. Dutch football is f*cked if we don't attack the UEFA very aggressively.

Well another successful trip to Amsterdam this weekend apart from the result. I managed to meet the whole Ajax Squad on the Friday morning apart from Victor Fischer as I was talking to Sigthorson and missed him as he drove past me.

Sunday I went to watch the Ladies Train

Lots of pics to follow
