Post subject:  SOUTHAMPTON 28-07-2012

I have just got this email from Southampton FC

"Dear Mr Farman,

Tickets for the Ajax away end will be available for purchase from ticket office 3 here at the stadium on the day of the game from 12pm onwards."

Maybe a mod can translate this into Dutch and put somewhere else on the forum

No need, Richie. Everybody on AT speaks or at least understands the english language. 8-)
Hopefully one of our members will visit the match!

Thanks, Richie. What is your opinion about the game?

Post subject:  Re: Match Report from Southampton website

it was a very poor game Toby, Southampton had a lot of the early play and the better chances throughout the Game. Vemeer played really well, but with the introduction of Fischer in the 2nd half we took more control of the game. Whilst the Saints were using there strength and hussle and bussle style of football Ajax controlled the game with good passing. Could have had a second just after we scored but the ball was taken away from Sigs boot as he was about to let fire. Crowd of only just over 5000 which I was suprised at as Ajax in town should be a big pull for them. With Sigthorson now back in scandanavia for treatment on his back im hoping Klassen may get some game time on Tuesday. About 400 Ajax supporters there and were noisey when we did sing. Looking forward to the game on Tuesday and hopefully a better game, Bust as DeBoer said it was about getting the players 90 minutes on the pitch which was true as we only made the one substitution and the saints made 9 changes.

Also a very good 1 minutes silence for the referee Jack Taylor who passed away friday night. Jack was the referee for the Ajax v Panithinikos European cup Final in 1971, so it was fitting that we were able to pay our respects

Spot on, Richie.
Yes, Jack Taylor. He also was the referee of the World Cup Final 1974.

No matter if he's right or wrong, you've got to have balls to do that!

No, no news about that either.. It is still too early. Even weeks after this competition the new schedule will not be known.

Probably not, Shaun. If AJAX finishes second they'll have to play CL-play-offs which means AJAX will have to start the season early. So no tour and an early vacation, i have heard.

Post subject:  Re: 2015 post season tour

Thanks guys, that's all helpful.

I'm annoyed that we will not be in the JCS when I am in Ams. Oh well.

Richie, I'm being dragged around Italy and the Balkans by the ball and chain so no trip to Mancunia unfortunately.

Post subject:  Re: 2015 post season tour

Ajax play while I am in Europe
July 28 or 29 CL qualifier
August 4 or 5 CL qualifier
August 7,8 or 9 Eredivisie round 1

Not too bad
