Wij vliegen nu (ga zo boeken) met Lufthansa vanaf Dusseldorf. Blijven van 22 t/m 26 februari. Ticket is 119 euro.
Maargoed! Lekker wat extra dagen in Manchester is ook geen straf denk ik zo.

City zat ik ook al aan te denken om heen te gaan. Ik hou de site in de gaten, kan de wedstrijd nu uberhaupt nog niet vinden op de tickets-site.

Ik zie de wedstrijd namelijk nog niet op de officiele kaartverkoop-site van MCFC staan.

En wil je persé naar Man Utd away, word dan effe lid van Man Utd (kost 31 pondjes) en dan kun je meteen online kaarten kopen voor de wedstrijd.
Neem vakken E335 of E336, dan zit je naast het uitvak.

Maat van me heeft dat gedaan (voor 2 personen), nu gaat 1 persoon mogelijk niet meer mee en dus ga ik mee. Dan zit ik wel in het vak van United maar dat maakt me niet uit.
Vlieg dan ook vanaf Charleroi, de woensdag volgens mij, mocht dat mogelijk nog zijn.

The quickest 2 ways into the centre of Manchester from the Airport are by Train or Taxi

A Taxi takes @ 30 Minutes and costs @£25

The train takes anytime between 15 and 30 Mins

Another time, no extra tickets for us, so my mate doesnt have a spare ticket left. This means that I wont come over.. Perhaps at the end of the season, because I want to visit a match of United in the PL.

A must Pub to Visit is the Circus Tavern on Portland Street. The smallest Pub in Manchester and the Grey Mare next door is only just a little bigger. The Circus Tavern is like going into sombodies house, with just two small rooms and the smallest serving counter that you will ever see. Lts of photographs and memorabilia on the walls.

If Feeling hungry just opposite the Circus Tavern is a Chinese eat all you can restaurant called Buffett City. There are many of this type in Manchester but this is probably the best before 6pm it is about £6 to eat and after 6pm it goes up to about £10 though they change the menu and more choices are on offer

Other good pubs are the Ape & Apple on John Dalton Street and the Oyster Bar in Exchange Square the Wellington next to it is also worth a visit. Lots of sitting out area at these two for a good sing and to display flags but I cant promise any sunshine

There is also a Weatherspoons in Picadilly Gardens that does good food and cheap beer.

If anybody is interested in finding a real ale pub (the Brown Bar type) let me know as these are normally tucked away in side streets but offer some fantastic beer

Just got my Ticket from United as they are now on open sale. Box 335which is near the Ajax supporters and going by other forums quite a lot of Ajacieds have joined the United membership scheme and already got tickets in 335

It's gonna be a crazy match I think !

Does anyone know how the relation is between Ajax and Man United supporters?

Klopt het dat het ticket alleen dat e-ticket is? Dat A4-tje wat je dus kan uitprinten? Moet alleen dat meegenomen worden?

@Sincere : Eigenlijk hoef je alleen je seizoenkaart mee te nemen en ID. Printje maken kan echter geen kwaad, voor het geval er iets mis is gegaan.

Just got my ticket for the City match as well. I only got 2 hours to get from the airport to my hotel and then to the city stadium.
I even think I need more time because the city site said it would post the tickets, but I don't know whether they send it to foreign addresses. I heard from dutch city fans that they normally have to pick up the tickets at the stadium.

@ Southcrew: Apart eigenlijk. Dus alleen met je Seizoenskaart en ID kom je het stadion in Man United binnen?
Ik zal dat printje ook voor de zekerheid maar meenemen. Zoals je zegt, kan nooit kwaad.

Nee, zo zit het niet.
Met je ID en je seizoenkaart moet je omwisselen! Dit doen medewerkers van Ajax. Zij scannen je seizoenkaart en zien of je een kaartje gekocht hebt.
Indien dat zo is, krijg je van hun een wedstrijdticket overhandigd (die om zwarthandel in kaartjes deels tegen te gaan, je kaart is hiermee grotendeels persoonsgebonden. Je kan wel verkopen, maar daarvoor moet je wel zelf naar Engeland om je kaartje op te halen)
Met dat wedstrijdkaartje kun je naar binnen ... zoals dat overal hetzelfde geregeld is.

@ Southcrew. Yes you are pushing it to get from the airport to Citys ground via a hotel in the centre in 2 hours.

What time does your flight land and what hotel are you staying at ?

Are you bringing just hand luggage as that will speed up your exit from the airport
